Re: Ageing Process
Okay, I've had a better look at this. When a fighters career stage changes from "post-prime" to "end", his era is changing from "active" to "retired". This shouldn't happen until he finishes the "end" part of his career. Because his era is changing t...

Re: Ageing Process
oops !!!
All is not well with ageing.
Although fighters are going to career end they are losing their ranking and being removed from the auto scheduler.
Easy enough to add them back to the auto scheduler but can't do much about the ranking.

Re: Slowdown after several fights.
I'm still getting this problem in version 1.4.
After about 8 to 10 fight cards I have to save and exit the game or everything just locks up.

Re: Ageing Process
This now appears to be working fine with version 1.4, just one tiny nit-picky little thing though, when the fighter finishes the post-prime part of his career I am getting the message that he has retired, but he is now actually going to the end stage of his career.

Ageing Process
I have brought this up before and apologies if it's already being worked on but I have just noticed something else. When a fighter finishes the post-prime era he/she goes straight to retired on the fighter screen but on the fighter details screen is being shown as career end, the fighters era howeve...

Re: Game slow-down and lock-up
Further information. My PC recently suffered a knock-out and had to retire and I am now running TBCB on an old laptop (Windows 7 with 2Gb of RAM). The problem with the buttons not working has become worse so it seems to be a memory problem. It could me a memory overflow. (Used to get a lot of that b...

Is there any way of changing the width of the columns, particularly on the fighters tables. Some of the information just doesn't fit.

Checkboxes
Could do with checkboxes on the tables, especially the fighters list. At the moment adding a lot of fighters to a specific group is quite a long winded process. I am trying to add about 30 fighters from the 1980's in each division to one group and it's taking ages as the ones I want aren't listed ne...

A couple more bugs that need sorting out
1. Not sure whether this is supposed to happen or not but "No Decision" contests aren't counting towards a fighters ageing process.
2. Fighters names are not being recorded in the "Title History" if a title fight is drawn.
Still enjoying the game though

Game slow-down and lock-up
After running about 16 fight cards (sorry, didn't check the exact number) all the buutons on the screen become inactive. However, if I minimize and then maximize the screen they become active again. This has to be done after every fight card is completed. If I carry on with the game I reach a point ...

Fight card and auto-scheduler
If you use the auto-scheduler to generate a fight card it ignores the date and venue.
This information has to be changed manually on the fight card screen.

Re: Bug in Aging Process TCB2013
I have just completed a new universe (using just 12 boxers) to see if the problem occurs again.
It Does.
I have also encountered another couple of anomalies which I will put in different posts.

I've re-started the game several times since I posted this and the problem hasn't re-occurred so it looks as if it may have been a one off glitch.

Re: Importing tbx3 files
I set up a new heavyweight universe but the 2 fighters (Ambrose Palmer & Jack Root tbx3 files) I imported previously weren't there so I re-imported them. I got a message saying they were already in my database did I want to overwrite the data. I ticked yes. Both fighters immediately appeared in ...

Importing tbx3 files
I have just tried to import two tbx3 files to my universe, Ambrose Palmer and Jack Root. Although I got a message to say they had been imported successfully they didn't appear. I exited the game, started it up again, loaded the relevant universe and lo and behold, there they are. Is this how it's su...

Out of date license
I have just tried to start tb2013 and got a message saying my license was out of date, with instructions to connect to the internet and try again.
I was able to start the game at the third attempt but I hope this isn't going to happen every time I start up the game.

Re: Changing Fighter Ratings
Many thanks for that. Its pretty close to the ratings I made for Foreman, I just had his control factor against boxers set a bit lower and defence a bit better (He took a lot of blows on the arms). Would be nice though if there was a way of creating a boxer that could appear in any new universe with...

Re: Changing Fighter Ratings
OK. Tried that but all its done is give me 2 boxers called George Foreman.
One with the original second career rating of 9 and one with a rating of 0 and all the attributes set to their lowest possible.

Changing Fighter Ratings
I have just added a second rating for George Foreman (His first career) as it doesn't appear in the game. However, having started a new universe I find I have to put the new ratings in again.
Is there a way of editing a fighters ratings so that the new ones appear in any universe I create ?
