I know poor old tb2013 is frustrating to us all, sadly.
But I just am getting back into it after a LONG hiatus.

Can anyone remind me a work around for when updating?

Duplicate fighters are added.. Some fighters go missing..
Other fighters records are reset to 0-0, etc.. etc..

Wasn't there a way to avoid most of this?

And is 2.5 still available anywhere? I remember being told to
delete mine, as it "interfered with" 2013... UGH!!

Forget TB 2013 and go back to TB 2.5. Check the OOTP Title Bout forum for link to purchasing.
