Linux OOTP 12 Licensing Issues

I recently purchased OOTP 12 for Linux and have been setting up a new league. After only a couple of days, my first license became invalid and I had to use my second to get back onto the game. I am now un-licensing the game every time I quit, and reloading it to start up again. This is the same problem I had when I got OOTP 10, but not before both licenses eventually became invalid. Back then, after working with a very helpful tech support guy, I was able to download a linux patch for OOTP10 from PISD, that finally eliminated the problem.

Is there an OOTP 12 Linux patch?
Could I use the old OOTP 10 patch? (I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to ask)

I am very anxious about the issue, as I expect that sooner or later the second license will go invalid, just like for OOTP 10.

Can you email your OOTP12 licence keys to webstore@pisd.co.uk so I can look into this for you. What happens if you dont unlicense the game before quitting?

Can you start the game from a shell using this command:

ootp12 --pisd-showdebug=all >to_pisd.txt

Email the "to_pisd.txt" file created to me as well.

Do not try installing the OOTP10 patch as it will not work.

Thought I should mention that my first license code is now working again (since 2000 MST USA, 27 Nov). Something happened at the far end of this chain.

That said, I unlicensed at quit again. I am considering leaving the game licensed with this first license just to see how long it lasts - since I have the second license in reserve.

Ah, I sent you an email about this, I guess it did not come through. I have cleared down your first license which is why its now working. Can you carry on as normal without releasing your license every time you quit. Then if it gets stuck again, use your second licence WITHOUT trying to release the first.

Then email me both keys and I will compare the two, to see what it is that caused the first one to get stuck!

Cheers
