Your license is no longer valid

Post by jimmytess »

I am receiving the error "Your license is no longer valid. This is often caused by updating your system. Please re-enter your licence serial number." However neither of my licenses will work. Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi Jim,

Firstly, have you read this FAQ is contains some useful information: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2

I can see from your account you have one unused license. Is this because you have solved your issue? Let me know if you still need assistance.

I have had the same problem. I updated my computer and was asked to re-enter my license. The one license that belongs to me does not work for some reason.

It sounds to me that your license has got stuck. Start the game and if
it asks you to re-enter your serial number select cancel. Go to the
game preferences and select the release license button and quit the
game. Now go to your webstore account and release your stuck license
as explained in this FAQ:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2

Once you have received an email saying your license has been released
you should be able to license your game as you did before.
