Will title bout work on an iPad 1 with ios5.1.1? If not are their planned future fixes?

Ah, this issue upsets me coz the game will run fine on the iPad1 but Apple no longer distribute the build tools for iOS5. Since I was forced to upgrade my mac and reinstall the build tools I have lost the ability to build an app for ipad1. There is nothing I can do about this, despite the iPad1 being capable of running the game.
