Fighters being replaced by other fighters

From different divisions, this is like the 4th time this has happened and it happens when I start adding trainers and cutmen, never fails, Jack Johnson gets replaced by Herman Ngoudjo, Joe Jeanette was replaced by Monte Barrett! It keeps the raitings of the old fighters but replaces everything else?!

Did we speak about this in an email chain last week?
Can you create a brand new game and give me step-by-step instructions to repeat this please. I will then be able to trace through the steps here and find whats happening.
Please make sure you are running version 1.4 and have done a data update before you start
